Lisa Borgiani

b. Verona, 1979. I live and work in Milan.

In the last 15 years, my installations and photography have been exhibited in both private and public Institutions worldwide. My work has been displayed at the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C., the European Parliament in Brussels, and The Italian Cultural Institutes in London, Singapore, San Francisco, and Vienna and more. Since October 2017 my work Waves of Light has been permanently installed at the Hospital San Raffaele in Milan.

My focus embraces contemporary  artistic interpretations of photography, in addition to conceptual mobile installations created on a large scale, to interact within the existing architecture.  

The conceptual aspect combines a focus on installation within its environment (according to its shape and history) and developing an on-going dialogue with the space that surrounds it, offering new ways for the public to observe and enjoy their installation. 

Currently, I am expanding my conceptual vision to include a mobile sculpture, which includes sound component.  I call this invention Mollofono.  It is actually an interactive mobile musical instrument that is linked to smartphones, tablets and other electronic media via software applications.
